The Suggested Auction Types for Swoopo

One of the basic things to know when you're new on bidding with Swoopo is knowing the type of auction to bid with. This is important for beginners as Swoopo has different kinds of auctions which might be very confusing. It is important to know which one to bid with so you will be utilizing your bids well. Here are the suggested Swoopo auction types that you can bid on.

1. Beginner Auction - as the name says it, this auction type is recommended for starters. It’s because the competition here is less fierce. You just have to be observant and careful though as some expert and pro bidders might get interested in bidding on these auctions.

2. Penny Auction – bidding in Penny Auctions only cost you 1 cent per bid so you won't spend much in this type of auction, as compared to a normal auction where each bid is 12 cents.

3. Nailbiter Auction – what's beneficial about this auction type is that you can really practice your bidding and clicking skills as each bid must be done manually and the advantage that Swoopo Bidbutler (bidding automation software) is prohibited. Also, you have to be attentive and set a huge amount of time when bidding in this auction.

4. Local Auctions – local auction type only allow Swoopo bidders from a specific country to participate in, which is shown with the relevant country flag on that auction. This local bidding limits the number of competition to that specific country so there's an increase in your chance to win your bids.

So these are the suggested auction types for starters to bid with. Take note that there are other Swoopo bidding strategies to learn and utilize in order to win in Swoopo. If you need to learn more, just visit the Swooper community website and look for the Swoopo Manual free trial course.

What Not To Do When Bidding In Swoopo

When we are doing our auction bids in Swoopo, we also need to remember a few don’ts when we do our bidding. These are just as important as the basic rules so you must take note.

Don’t Forget the Golden Rule

Here’s the Golden Rule: never pay over retail price for anything on Swoopo. Unbelievably though, it does get violated on a semi-regular basis on Swoopo. Bidders actually get a hang that they forgot how much they are spending already and also forgot to check the current bid.

Now remember that I’m not talking about the cost of bids. I’m only talking about the current product price. If you find this number getting close to or exceeding the worth up to price of an item, bail out! You could check other products sites like Amazon and order the same product for the same price or cheaper.

The Post-BidButler Battle Bid

As I have mentioned before, if two BidButlers are triggered at the same time, a BidButler Battle occurs. The cost of the item and the time on the clock will then both soar. It’s not unusual to see 10 minutes or more added to the auction clock after a BidButler battle and you noticed that immediately. A common error is a bidder jumping in immediately after the BidButler Battle with single bids while the auction clock still shows several minutes. That’s a big mistake. Also, do not go hand in hand with a Bidbutler that has just emerged victorious on a Bidbutler battle.

Don’t Start Bidding Unless You Have Time To Spend on an Auction

This rule is for all the busy folks especially our working bidders out there. If you know you’ll need to leave your computer after only a few minutes, do not start bidding. It is because a typical Swoopo auction can take well over a day. That doesn’t mean though that you need to set aside 24 hours to start bidding. No, most auctions will only be truly competitive for a few hours. A good rule of thumb to use is never start bidding on an auction unless you can devote at least two hours to it. Yup, two hours.

Also, you probably won’t need to pay attention the entire time. A BidButler Battle, mentioned earlier, could give you much needed bathroom and snack breaks of ten minutes or more. But you don’t want to be pulled away from an auction after you’ve already invested your hard earned money in bids.

I hope this three simple “do not” (not the food) will guide you and your strategy on bidding with Swoopo. You might want to join our Swoopo strategy community forum and update yourself with the latest stuff in Swoopo.
